Unfortunately active shooter and workplace violence incidents are on the rise and they gain massive media attention when they occur. An active shooter-is an individual actively engaged in killing or attempting to kill people in a confined and populated area, normally through the use of a firearm. More often than not, these shooters will take their own lives prior to law enforcement or any other emergency responders arriving.
